Walk Around
Los Angeles

and Find Out!

This is not a definitive guide to Los Angeles. It’s a framework for going somewhere new.

Skip the obvious.

Spin the wheel.

Grab a coffee.

And go.

Every neighborhood gives you a reason to show up — a cultural identity, a few fun facts, recurring events — and a starting point: a specific coffee shop or bakery, with a walking route to follow. From there, you are expected to look around.

If you walk past a panadería that smells better than the one we marked, go in. If a bookstore on the corner pulls you in, follow it. The walks are scaffolding, not scripture. The most important business on any block is often the one we missed.

Routes are guides, not gospel.

How to use it

  • Spin the wheel or use Browse All to pick directly

  • Read the entry before you leave the house

  • Park near the coffee shop — walks loop back to the start

  • Follow the route loosely — the stops are anchors, not checkpoints

  • Every walk starts at a coffee shop or bakery — build in time to sit

Common sense

  • Be aware of your surroundings, especially after dark

  • Phone charged before you leave

  • Wear shoes you can climb stairs in

  • Verify hours before showing up — independent businesses change quickly

  • Spend money locally — that's the point
